We started our Easter weekend with a preliminary Easter egg hunt in our apartment! Sawyer had a great time (I think even better than the 'real' egg hunt with our apartment complex)! I wanted to make sure he had the hang of it before throwing him into the rowdy egg hunt with 100 kids.
This is Sawyer's favorite little friend, McKenna, as she arrived for the egg hunt. They talk about each other a lot when they're apart, but when they're together they're normal 2 year olds, fighting over everything! It's a very complicated relationship. But you know they really care when they see each other at church and hug. :)
The hunt is ON! Sawyer finished with 3 eggs (the limit was 4 per kid).
An Easter bunny came to greet the kids. Sawyer didn't show much emotion. Just kind of followed him around a little bit. Maybe he was just trying to figure it out? Was it a real rabbit? 
He's still trying to figure him out, I think. At least he's not scared. He's got a mouth full of chocolate and he's on a getaway car.
We didn't get any pictures of it, but we did go have a nice Easter dinner on campus. Notre Dame presents a very well done buffet for students, and we had a good meal there after church.
