Last night we went to the Atlanta Falcons game at the Georgia Dome. It was a little different than Notre Dame football: the people in the crowd were all.... old. Haha :) And that's WHY it was a lot quieter. People weren't screaming (swearing) the entire time, or doing chants and songs every 2 minutes. But, it was nice not to stand for the entire 3 hours, like at ND. We've been to a Packer game, too, and I think those fans were a little more fanatic than here!
When we first showed up, 30 minutes before starting, the seats were still mostly unoccupied. So we headed right down to the front row for awhile. We actually got to stay there for nearly an hour before the people who had those tickets showed up. :) It was awesome. The picture above is from our ACTUAL seats, in row 25.
The best part of the front row? During warm-ups a football came over the edge (from a practicing kicker) & Sawyer got to catch it and throw it back! That made our whole evening!!! I'm so sad this picture didn't turn out, because I whipped out the camera SO FAST to try and catch the moment; but you can kinda see Sawyer has the football back up behind his shoulder, ready to throw it down to that guy.

So glad we got to do it once, but probably won't do it again until our kids are all much older. They were very well behaved, but still needed a lot of tending to. I think I saw a total of 15 minutes worth of game play. Oh well. :)
