Thursday morning we had a fun Easter egg hunt with all of our church play group friends. It was a beautiful morning, and the first egg hunt of Sawyer's life without snow on the ground; yay for the south!
Friday afternoon we dyed a few Easter eggs, just to give Sawyer his first taste of it. We only had two eggs out of ten crack, and neither were because of Sawyer (or Hunter)... As a still relatively young family, we're always brainstorming what holiday traditions we'd like to form. This year we decided that we want to keep all the springtime/eggs/bunnies/chicks type 'Easter' on Saturday (or earlier days), and try to reserve the spiritual/family for Sunday. We liked the way that felt this year, so I think that's a keeper!
Sunday was wonderful, but I didn't get a single picture! We watched general conference online from home, and had a simple traditional Easter meal with some of our favorite friends in the afternoon. We're so grateful for this holiday and for the friends who shared it with us!
