Chicago!

Aunt Lisa (Joe's sister) was visiting Wisconsin from Utah, so we decided to meet her in Chicago to see each other. She hadn't met Hunter yet, and it was great to have Peter come along (Joe's little brother) only a few weeks after having heart surgery! Here we are on Navy Pier:

We spent the afternoon at the Chicago Children's Museum, which is phenomenal!

They have an entire water room, where the kids put on rain coats and play with all different types of water toys & experiments:

There's this net tube to climb up which takes you up two stories (or you can take the stairs...)! The sign said children 5 and up, but younger ones allowed at parents' discretion; Sawyer is a climbing champ, so Joe went along and let him go for it!

Other feature rooms were: dinosaur excavation, garden room, bowling, invention room, building area (real wood, bolts, screws), and many more!

Afterwards we had dinner outdoors at a restaurant on the pier, and finished off our evening with a walk along the lake and some fabulous ice cream. Thanks for coming down, Lisa & Peter!
